Zion Mennonite Youth Group is one of the greatest youth groups around...
We play hard, and pray hard.
ZMYG Mission Statement written by the youth 10/18/98
As Zion Mennonite Youth Group, our goal is to be an open
fellowship of Christian friends who encourage, strengthen, and meet each others' needs...
equipping each other to passionately strive to be more like Christ through studying the
Bible and spending time together in prayer and worship... to reach out as a shining light
to our friends and neighbors through service and evangelism... and to have fun in the
process.
 | Worship Our God is awsome, and we love to worship
him. One of the great aspects of this youth group with some really gifted worship

| Regular Meetings We meet weekly on Saturday
evenings @6:30 Our meeting includes an hour for activity, highlights, worship,
teaching, prayer groups, and snack/hangout time.

| Prayer Groups Our regular meetings include a small
group time for prayer and connection which is youth lead.

| Activities Some of the most amazing events this year
1999 included... a Winter Retreat, Bible Quizzing, Video shoot for "Broken World,
Mennonite Youth Convention, Camp Hebron (where we lead worship), a Christian Rave,an
awesome concert with Skankin Buvas, and Perfekt Gentlemen, an incredible New Years Party
to bring in the year 2000, Youth Sunday at Zion where God did some really cool things.

| The Youth Committee Jesse Test - Church relations, Amy
Trusty - events, Carrie Snead - fundraising, Kristen Herr - secretary, and Shauna Nefos -
events are all part of the committee which makes the major decisions for the
direction of the Youth group.
